RF-lifting is a procedure by which the body is exposed to an electric current. Collagen and elastin molecules are heated as RF pulses pass through the tissues, which causes these proteins to twist into spirals and, as a result, a powerful lifting effect. Also, this procedure locally triggers the process of lipolysis, that is, the breakdown of fats, and contributes to the rejuvenation of the skin.
The procedure is carried out using a radio wave apparatus. The device copes well with working on different types of skin and restores youthfulness to the epidermis, which has lost its former elasticity.
When is RF body lifting necessary?
Indications for radiofrequency lifting are:
- flabbiness, sagging skin;
- body fat;
- cellulite;
- stretch marks, scars.
Types of RF lifting
What type of lifting is right for you, the specialist will determine. Three methods are distinguished depending on what apparatus the procedure is carried out and what is the nature of the radiation:
Unipolar. The most effective, but at the same time dangerous for the body type of RF-lifting. During the session, a high temperature is reached in the tissues (up to 60 ° C), which can lead to numerous complications, therefore, such a procedure is allowed only once.
Bipolar. It differs from unipolar in a more gentle effect on tissues, since it heats only up to 45 ° C. The effect will be noticeable only after a course of several procedures.
Tripolar. An innovative method that combines all the advantages of the previous types. Acts on the skin gently and at different depths.
How is the procedure going?
A radiofrequency lifting session takes place in several stages:
- Thorough examination by a doctor.
- Cleansing the skin from impurities and gentle exfoliation.
- Application of a conductive cream.
- Working out problem areas with a device with a special attachment along certain lines.
- Removal of cream residues.
- Moisturizing the skin.
The approximate duration of one procedure is 20-50 minutes.
